Our Brand Story
Founder, Taiba Ash, started FinerRings as a ‘side gig’ ten years ago whilst studying at University. She began with a little soldering kit making stacking rings and she loved what she called a hobby. She then discovered a gap in the Australian market for affordable jewellery that didn’t rust, with the added bonus of it being handmade, rather than overseas.
She soon began going to craft markets all around Victoria on the weekends, packing her car at 3am and driving through the countryside to little towns, bringing FinerRings to people near and far. The first FinerRings store opened on Chapel Street in South Yarra, a proud moment that the small brand had grown so quickly. Taiba graduated University, but decided to work full time on the jewellery in the hopes that the brands success would continue.
To this day, FinerRings three foundational pillars are still maintained; Handmade, Anti-Tarnishing and Affordable.
FinerRings now has five stores in Melbourne; South Yarra, Fitzroy, Balaclava, Chadstone and Westfield Doncaster, as well as one store in Mosman, Sydney. The FinerRings head office is located in Balaclava, with a small team of creative individuals who strive to hand-make the best quality jewellery and provide a positive experience to every customer.
The team alongside Taiba and her family are continually striving to make the Finer Rings experience a positive one for each customer from start to finish.
